Long-term Democrat Sends Message to the Party

In Common Voices by commonnw

Gary Hagland shared a message from a Skagit County Democrat to be forwarded and shared to the Democrat Party of Washington State. This is his message to them.

FYI:  CAPR is a nonpartisan organization, but it supports property rights without fear or favor.  The WA Democrat Party’s record on Skagit’s water problems is pretty clear and the party is not on the side of individual property and water rights.  Therefore, we agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Tellberg’s message.

To Whom it May Concern

I have been a Democrat my entire life.

I WILL NO LONGER DONATE TO ANY DEMOCRATIC PERSON OR CAUSES UNTIL MY WATER RIGHTS ARE RETURNED.

I have been a resident of Washington State and Skagit County for 70 years. I am now diseased with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. I invested in the properties around the house I have lived in for over 50 years.

My property has been devalued and I am no longer able to use my property as Skagit County promised before I purchased. Before purchase, the county gave me parameters for construction. They have broken their word. I can no longer use my property as intended.

The Swinomish Indians have purchased the state legislature and the governor through their lobbyists.

I will be happy to return to my political roots after my water rights and the Skagit INSTREAM FLOW debacle has been corrected.

Sincerely,

Capt. Jacob S Tellberg (USMM Retired) / 19373 County Line Rd / Skagit Co,  Washington
